Basrah Mas was selected as a sole main contractor to International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) to construct three berths at their Basrah Gateway Terminal (BGT) in Umm Qasr Port.

The philosophy of this project is to connect the family park new projects (Bowling center, Mas cinema and the park) to the extension of the family park on the other bank of the river. The design and construction of the bridge was totally handled by the company and the main engineering challenge was floating and hauling the bridge in position.

A total of 800,000 cubic meters of materials were dredged in front of berth 27 to reach to navigational depths in accordance with requirement of Umm Qasr port navigational depths.

The General Company for Ports of Iraq (GCPI) required a Control tower in Umm Qasr Port. The total height of the concrete tower is 45m with an observation chamber on top equipped with communication system, telescope system and radar unit.
