An area for containers handling and storage with a total area of 100,000 m 2 with multi-functional covered storages and ancillary buildings. One of the innovations we did in this project was using the precast interlock concrete pavement tiles for paving all storage areas especially containers stalking yard. This innovation was accepted and approved by the General Company for Ports of Iraq and the client, after thorough analysis was done with the University of Basrah
